Geothermal Air Conditioning for Electrical Enclosures
For the longevity of high powered electronic components to last, the heat generated must be removed. Previously, electrical enclosures were cooled by means of circulatory movement from outside ambient air. This was accomplished by pulling contaminated hot, humid air into the enclosure with fans and filters. The air was then discharged through another filter, resulting in an unclean and inefficient method for cooling electronic components.
With the
Geothermal Air Conditioning Cooling System, the internal temperature of the electrical enclosure can be lowered while maintaining the totally enclosed enclosure. This system cools the enclosure by utilizing a readily available geo-thermal cooling source rather than relying on the outside environment which is already too harsh for today's high powered heat generating electronics.
The result is an enclosure that is suitable for variable frequency drives (VFD), computers and communication equipment.
